| | | | The New Van | Watch as our daughter-in-law, Shelly, sees her new van for the first time. This set of photos was unscripted. We just followed along and snapped some pictures. It was wonderful to see such delight. Obviously, everyone was very, very pleased. |
| | | | 40th Anniversary Open House | In November, 2009, Ron Einspahr and family celebrated 40 years in the automotive business. Our open house on November 16 brought in many long-time customers and former employees. Governor Rounds and Mayor Reed declared the day, 'Ron Einspahr Day' with proclamations. | | | | New Construction 1980 | By 1979, the company had completely outgrown its downtown location and was looking to expand. The 8th Street South property was purchased and construction began. These are shots of the early phases of the construction. Looks more like an outdoor art installation than a building going up. Grand Opening was August of 1980. |
| | | | Grand Opening in 1980 | Ron Einspahr (in tan suit) is roasted and toasted by Brookings dignitaries at the August 1980 Grand Opening. In attendance, Mayor Orrin Juel, Commissioner Roger Prunty, Contractor Wayne Waltz, SDADA President, and Ron Reed, Chamber Exec. |
| | | | Grand Opening 1980 | Inside there was lots to take in as our guests admired the new facility. Some of those pictured are Donna McLagan, Office Manager, Ron Einspahr and Cal Vaudrey, Al Moum and Bob Madson. And how about that spanking new Lincoln Mark VII? |
